UK EASTER MEETINGS REPORT
They came from the east and west, they came from the Land’s afar, To feast with the king, to dine as his guests, How blessed those pilgrims were.
Host Pastor Archie-Harold Brown
God’s elect from all across England and abroad gathered together in Lea Valley, Enfield, North London, from Good Friday the 2nd – Easter Sunday the 4th of April 2010 to celebrate our Lord’s death, burial and resurrection under the theme “LET BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE”.
Due to the wonderful time of fellowship shared amongst brethren during last year’s Easter meetings at Bexleyheath, Kent, expectations were very high that the Lord Himself will take us an octave higher in our individual spiritual lives and collective Bride body in England. By the end of the meetings almost all present could testify that the theme of “Let Brotherly Love Continue” was not just words but was lived out in the people. As one brother said “... oh my, the love, warmth and fellowship, it’s just like heaven”.
During the three days of meetings there were five services with two services each on Saturday and Sunday, breaks for lunch, fellowship, getting to meet old friends and making new ones, eating and rejoicing in the presence of Our Maker. A thousand chairs were put out and all nearly taken, an increase from Easter 2009 and a testimony that the Bride is gathering and fellowshipping. It is The Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes.
Our guest speakers Brother Jesse Robledo and Brother Jack Duff from New York and Florida respectively together with Brother John Noble (Birmingham) and Brother Whispa Gwena (Spoken Word Ministries, Enfiled) blessed us all with powerful word ministrations under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. There were also short words of exhortations and greetings from lots of other ministers present which got the congregation rejoicing and worshipping in God’s presence.
There was a lot of angelic song ministrations from individuals and choirs from different assemblies to add to all the blessings that was received, notable among these was Bro Jack duff and his family who blessed us with a lot of specials and playing of different instruments all to the Glory of the Lord.
Such was the presence of the Holy spirit that testimonies of healings and deliverance were flowing in during the meetings, and we have no doubt that there are more to follow. After the meetings even though it was hours pasts the expected closing time most brethren could not leave but continued the fellowship in the hall, car park and surrounding bus stops with one burning desire to Let Brotherly Love Continue.
