FINLAND REPORT

God bless you Saints,
I was back in Finland last month to attend the meetings that were being held there. It was the fourth consecutive year that I visited the believers in Finland. Brother Per Johansen from Finland and Brother Matti from Helsinki were also in attendance to serve God's people. During the fellowship the believers from Finland shared with me some wonderful testimonies and I wrote three of them down to share with you.

First Testimony
During the war with Russia, (which was terrible for both countries) a Russian soldier met a Finnish soldier unexpectedly, both were surprised and had their rifles in their hands, there was a moment of silence, who’s going fire first, one of them waved with his hand to the other then the other waved back and both of them went their own way. After the war they had a possibility to hear from one another again to find out that they both were believers.
Second Testimony
After Bro. Branham visit Finland the Message started to spread in the different churches, in one of the churches people got baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
One of the elders knew about it but didn’t say anything finally the board of elders found out about it and they had a board meeting and they said that such heresy couldn’t be allowed in their church.
Then the elder who knew it already from the beginning said that it was in the Bible that believers got baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The board was furious about that statement and they said: “We as the board excommunicate you from the board as an elder.”
“And I excommunicate you from this church.” said the pastor.
The brother thought:”I better find out why these people were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ or I don’t have any fellowship at all.”
After he found out he became a fervent message believer.
Third Testimony
In another church, one of the brothers was excommunicated for believing the Message. There was a language problem because in Finland they use Swedish and Finnish.
But in the brother excommunication letter was written.
“We the church excommunicate brother so and so and the Lord Jesus Christ from this church”
